Eagle Scout

As of December 26, 2007, I am officially an Eagle Scout. I was honored to recieve the reward and proud of all the things that I have done on the way. Looking back at all the experiences and opportunities that I have had through scouting, I am very grateful and blessed. My Eagle Scout Project took a lot of time and hard work, but with the help of the community, I was able to accomplish something truly special. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way.

On Veterans' Day, November 11, was the Rededication Ceremony for the Pataskala Veterans' Memorial. Over 200 people attended the ceremony on a cold, rainy day. In attendance were Pataskala Mayor Steve Butcher, US Congressman Pat Tiberi, Ohio State Senator Tim Shaffer, Ohio State Representative Jay Hottinger, the Pataskala City Council, members of the Reynoldsburg VFW, the West Licking Fire Dept. and a veterans biker group. I was very pleased with the amount of people who came despite the weather. I want to thank everyone who came and also everyone who helped make this possible. I truly appreciate the efforts of the community to come together and make this beautiful memorial for our nations veterans.
