The granite base stone was delievered Tuesday and the original memorial stone was placed on the base stone today. The planter box wall is assembled. In the next couple weeks I should be getting the rest of the engraved pavers in. The project is really coming together now and I look foward to getting more work done this weekend.

A Work in Progress
The concrete pads for the memorial were poured the Wednesday during the street fair by Mark Rodgers Construction. I was very appreciative of their help. The two pads are for the flag poles and also for the granite base stone that the memorial stone will rest on. I would like to thank True Value for their donation of gravel. The gravel was spread all over the site and leveled. This past week I have been laying down pavers and I am very excited about the progress that has been made. I would like to thank all of the scouts and parents from Troop 21 that have come down to help. I am confident that the memorial will look fantastic and with the first group of pavers laid, I finally have been able to get a glimpse of what it will look like.
